Technical Systems Officer

Due to the continued success of the business, we are expanding the team and are looking for a Technical Systems Officer.

The role is to manage and maintain the current company network and infrastructure, ensuring continued IT security throughout the company and implementing new technology as needed.

This role would suit an experienced 1st Line Support person who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Key tasks include:

■   2nd and 3rd Line Support
■   Firewall and network maintenance
■   Fix issues, and if required escalate to the IT Manager
■   System Daily checks
■   Project work                                    
■   Network design and implementation
■   Proactive maintaining the security of the network
■   System documentation
■   Creation of IT Processes and IT Policies

We are looking for someone that has knowledge in all or some of the following areas:

Windows XP/10, Windows server 2012+/2019, Windows active directory and group policy, Networking (basic switching and routing), Helpdesk systems, Switch management (Netgear/Cisco), Dell/HP Servers, Forcepoint email and web filtering solutions, Enterprise antivirus systems, Mobile Device Management, Office 365, Backup systems, SQL server 2008/2012+, Cisco switches, routers, firewalls (ASA), Firewall access-list configuration.
