Class 2 Driver

Accept Recruitment are now recruiting for Class 2 Drivers on an on-going basis for a glass company based in Leicester.

As a successful candidate for the Class 2 Driving role, you will be required to deliver glass to businesses.

Available Shifts

• Monday to Friday – start time 7am

Pay Rate 

• (PAYE) £13ph

Your daily duties will include:

• Loading/unloading of the vehicle with special care as glass handling is required 
• Metal frames, profiles or glass units 
• Meeting deadlines for scheduled deliveries
• Handballing 
• Dealing with customers face to face and on the phone to confirm deliveries
• Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations

You will require to have the following:

• Class 2 (C) Licence
• A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position
• No more than 6 points on a licence (no DR, DD, DG, IN10)
• Valid UK License with C Entitlement.
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph card
• Driver must have correct PPE i.e safety boots and high-vis
