Receptionist/Administrator, 40hrs per week

We are looking for a Receptionist/Administrator for 40hrs per week. Your main role will be to manage the receptionist and administrative procedures within the home as directed by the Home Manager. You’ll provide an efficient and confidential service for our home.

 Duties

  • To answer the telephone promptly and deal with enquires in an accommodating, respectful and caring manner. Ensuring that confidentiality is always maintained regarding staff, residents and clients.
  • To ensure that all residents/visitors are welcomed into the home, visitor book is completed, appropriate person notified of their arrival.
  • To deal with enquiries in a professional manner ensuring that any appropriate follow up action is carried out in a timely and professional manner.
  • To show visitors and potential clients around the home in a professional manner.
  • To handle deliveries effectively ensuring goods are taken by the addressee and are not left in the reception area.
  • To undertake general typing e.g., minutes of meetings.
  • To produce documents as requested by the Home Manager.
  • To attend appropriate training courses and staff meetings.
  • To ensure that the reception area is kept tidy and welcoming.
  • Deal with daily correspondence including post and email promptly.
  • Produce good quality professional correspondence, documents and newsletters as required.
  • Maintain stationary stock control and order other supplies as required.
  • To oversee the Covid testing procedures of the home.
  • Ordering of PPE and consumables as required.
  • To undertake any other duties, commensurate with the grade of the role, as agreed with, or requested by, the Home Manager.
