We are recruiting an exciting new Commercial Sales Developer position within our WCF Chandlers business, based at our North Killingholme office.
WCF Chandlers is the largest fuel and lubricant distributor within WCF’s portfolio, servicing thousands of domestic, agricultural, haulage and commercial customers and independent retail garages across a dozen counties. Employing over 70 staff, and operating out of 9 locations, we pride ourselves on providing first-rate customer service, ensuring a safe and efficient service is delivered to all. We have invested heavily in our business over the last few years to ensure we continue to be a preferred supplier fuel across our region.
As a Commercial Sales Developer you will work alongside our Commercial Sales Team Leader and dedicated Sales team to grow WCF Chandlers’ market share - by winning new profitable customers, and building customer loyalty through unrivalled customer service, your primary focus will be to bring in new commercial and agricultural customers to our growing portfolio. To do this, you will deliver unrivalled account management by nurturing and building strong long-lasting relationships.
Customer service is paramount to all that we do at WCF. As a Commercial Sales Developer you will be expected to provide first-class customer service when performing your duties, demonstrating a keen willingness to meet and satisfy the needs of our customers.
Your standard hours of work will be 40-hour week, Monday to Friday. Additional hours may be required during peak winter season as necessitated by the business.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have proven sales and new business development experience, ideally gained selling into a commercial, agricultural, and industrial customer base
- Experience of working in the fuel distribution sector would be advantageous
- Excellent track record of targeted, relationship-based selling
- Proven track record of achieving (and often exceeding) targets
- An ability to build strong and effective relationships with customers and colleagues
- Able to show initiative and make decisions
- Ability to sell to customer needs, maintaining a professional attitude, demonstrating empathy, compassion and commitment
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
