Overview of the Job Healthvision UK is a leading UK health care provider, delivering person-centred support which helps adults lead full and independent lives in their own homes. We are looking for a HR Officer to ensure there are adequate care staff available who are properly trained and have satisfied all necessary checks. This involves following Healthvision recruitment procedures and monitoring carer demand. They will also be required to assist with various administration duties. Reporting directly to HR Manager, your key Responsibilities will be:
Actively participate and overlook the recruitment process in the company.
Actively participate and support HR Managers in international recruitment.
Prepare and place job advertisements for carers and other staff.
Conduct initial telephone interviews and invite suitable applicants for a face to face interview.
Interview applicants, ensure application form, DBS check and other vetting requirements are completed.
Administration for new starters and leavers.
Actively overlook and support HR Assistant workload.
Manage and follow Investigation procedures with staff who have not followed procedure.
Manage staff records on Access and other databases.
Be the first point of contact for any and all HR queries.
Develop and maintain a constructive and professional working relationship across the Board.
Ensure that all staff files are up to date and contain the correct information.
Coordinate training activities
Other administration tasks as required.
Experience working in a Human Resources environment. (Essential)
Has an up to date knowledge of employment law and practice. (Preferred)
Works in a collaborative way with other team members, thinks ‘laterally’ when looking for solutions to problems.
This is a pressured role so a can do attitude and strong emotional attitude is a must.
Works well as part of the team, represents and promotes Healthvision in a positive manner, takes pride in work and appearance, does the right thing, follows and inspires others to follow company policies and procedures.
Is decisive and takes direct action within the bounds of their delegated authority.
Is consistently punctual in their work attendance, if allocated a task, it will be completed fully.
Has good organisation skills and strong attention to detail.
