£10 per hour

Casual hours to be used in the school holidays and occasional weekend

About Me

M is a 9 year old boy with lots of energy, he has Global Developmental delay, some social communications difficulties with some autistic features, he also has asthma, he lives at home with his mum and great grandmother.

M loves to be outside in the garden or at the park, he likes to swim but has no awareness of danger around water.

Main Duties

Supporting M to have fun and burn off some energy and learn to be safe outside, encouraging M to build on his independence away from his mum.

Supporting M to think for himself and communicate what he wants.

Prompt and support M to use his asthma inhaler when needed.

Hours & Pay Rate

Casual hours to be used in the school holidays and occasional weekend paid at £10 per hour.

Enhanced DBS clearance is required dated in the last 3 months.

Person Specification

Someone who has experience of supporting other young people in the community.

Someone who enjoys being active.

It is very important that you are friendly and cheerful, you will also need to be flexible and reliable.

Someone who is happy and willing to be in interactive, you will be encouraging in order to improve and develop skills.
