Welder Fabricator

Accept Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator to join a specialist structural steel working company based in Leicestershire (LE9 postcode).

The position is on a temporary to permanent basis and upon successfully completing the 12-week trial period, you will be transferred onto the company contract.

Working hours are 40 hours per week Mon to Fri days with a flexible start time, however there is potential to finish earlier on the Friday. 

You will also be part of the team who assists with completing final installation of jobs off site (nationwide).

The hourly rate offered is between £13ph-£14.50ph depending on experience and qualifications.

As the MIG Welder Fabricator, you will be:

• Welding & fabricating structural steelwork & architectural metalwork (such steel building frames, stairs, balustrade, canopies)
• 6mm fillet welding of mild steel
• Reading & working from drawings

Experience & Qualifications:

• NVQ level 2 or any relevant MIG welding qualifications will be an advantage
• Due to attending other sites, you will need to hold a CSCS card 
• Experience working with mild steel (ideally in structural steel work and architectural metalwork)
• Knowledge of fabrication
• Confidently read and work from drawings

You will need clear communication skills for this position and as part of the interview process, you will complete a weld test (so must have own welding mask & gear)
