Harston, Cambridge CB22

We are a small and friendly team supporting a young adult with disabilities and in search of several support workers to join J’s team. J is 19 and is an incredibly happy and cheerful young man with a most infectious giggle. J is a very social person and he likes to go out and about. He uses a power chair. J has cerebral palsy and requires adult help for all his needs, including personal care.

Your role would be to assist J to live in an independent life. His residence is impressively adapted, and he receives 2:1 care. You will be working alongside another support worker.

The role offers:

-       Competitive rates £13 to £15 per hour gross (gross earnings potentially to £28,000 or more)

-       28 days of annual leave.

-       Training, induction, and regular supervisions with a dedicated management team.

-       Pension

-       Welcome and Yearly bonus.

-       Experience in care would be desirable but we would consider all applications as training on the job would be provided.

-       Opportunities to train and develop, including NVQ levels.

-       Free on-site parking

-       Own transport would be preferable.

Own transport would be essential as there is no link to public transport in Harston.
