Are you an experienced hotel manager looking to take the next step in your career within an established and well-respected local business?  The award winning Marsham Court Hotel is offering you the chance to join the team.  For the last 35 years, our family have owned and run the hotel to success, including a massive four Dorset Tourism Awards last year: Hotel of the Year, Business Events & Wedding Venue of the Year, Dog Friendly Venue of the Year and the Winner of Winners Award.

Over the last few years we have been investing heavily in our business including brand new balconies and hotel frontage, a huge refurbishment of our large kitchen and becoming one of the most accessible hotels in the UK. Now we would like to welcome you to the family as we prepare for a busy Summer Season.

At this time we are looking for a candidate with at least 18 months experience in a supervisory or management role.

As the new Guest Services Manager, you will be at the forefront of everything we do, overseeing the day to day running of the hotel. We will give you exceptional training to be able to supervise all departments to ensure our guests receive the highest levels of service during their stay with us. This is a very varied role and you must be able to multi-task and oversee multiple departments to ensure that the supervisors in each area are completing their work up to the hotel standard.

As a Guest Services Manager you will maintain the Marsham Court Hotel’s three brand pillars: Service (being prepared for every guest’s needs, and doing our utmost to offer the most professional and personalised approach to hospitality), Experience (creating treasured memories that keep our guests returning year on year), and Family (our colleagues are as much the family as the owners, and our guests, the wider community and the environment are all included in this too!).

This role involves a varied shift pattern including evenings and weekends. We are dedicated to our colleagues’ development, so you will be up-skilled to deliver, and be offered opportunities to grow with your role, with the potential to take on additional responsibilities and move into more senior positions in the future.
