About the service user

I’m a 53 year old visually impaired man living in St Neots, I would like to get back to cycling, and I would like to find someone to support me using my tandem bike.

Hours and rate of Pay

1 day per week on a Thursday

 1 hour  start time between 1pm and 3pm

 £10 per hour

What you would be doing

I am looking for someone to support me on a bike ride.  This would involve meeting at my house in St Neots on a Thursday anytime between 1pm and 3pm, and cycling with me on my tandem bike into town for a cup of coffee and the cycling back home for 1 hour a week.

 If the weather is wet/raining we would not cycle but have a coffee and chat at my house

The person I would like

Someone with a good sense of balance, chatty and sociable and enjoys being outdoors.

 Establish a close working relationship on a one-to-one basis

 Discuss and resolve problems as they arise
