About the Employer

Employer is a 29-year old Trans Non-binary Autistic adult with ADHD who is looking for a PA.

They enjoy being with dogs, listening to ska-punk, walking my dog, juggling, cycling and watching TV.

They don’t like busy, loud places, judgmental attitudes, assumptions about people, last minute changes, greed and human-animal dominance.

Employers goals are:

• to complete degree in social sciences
• to make friends, build a support network and involve themselves in the trans, non-binary and neurodivergence community in Brighton
• To write and perform own music and poetry
• to build a career in empowering the marginalized - particularly fellow trans, non-binary and nuerodivergent people.
• to learn to drive by the end of the year

Main Duties

• Meal preparation and create set menu for each week
• Managing and maintaining nutrition
• Maintain home environment
• Daily housework i.e. hovering, cleaning bathroom/kitchen
• Help with heavy domestic tasks such as shopping
• Accompanying to appointments
• Medical Administration work
• Assisting client when accessing local community including activities
• Administration work
• Assisting with work, training and volunteering
• Support when using public transport
• Assistance when eating
• Support with laundry
• Creating a safe personal space when employee feels overwhelmed
• Support with social life, maintaining relationships with friends and family
• Creating a good sleeping pattern

Ideal PA

• Good communication, personable
• Broader understanding of autism and ADHD
• Able to work independently, little assistance required
• Good organisational skills
• Full UK license
• Own vehicle
• Extremely clean
• Support trans/queer community 

Required

• DBS Check
• 2 References from previous workplace or current workplace
• Full Covid Vaccination, including booster
• Punctual
• Patient
• very organized
• Support trans/queer community
• Experience with conditions such as ADHD and Autism
• Local to Brighton Central, Hove
• Full UK Driving License
• Own Vehicle
• Comfortable and able around dogs

Working Hours

• 10 hours a week
• 6 hours week day and 4 hours weekend

Salary

• Employee rate £10.20 per hour
