We are looking to appoint a Technical Sales Manager to come and work for an artificial intelligence consultancy specialising in developing bespoke AI & ML solutions for businesses.​ The company consults clients and partners across the public and private sectors across the world, as well as develops and maintains technology solutions for SMEs and large corporations across industries.

 

Job Overview

As the “Technical Sales Manager” you are a passionate sales professional and you understand the importance of listening to  get a deep understanding of what your clients care about. The Technical Saes Manager will be able to demonstrate a passion for people, high level of empathy and a thorough understanding and practical experience with various sales techniques.

Artificial Intelligence services are interesting to sell, and the business provides training in the core skills of AI and Machine learning that are required to speak to their potential clients.

 

In this exciting opportunity as the Technical Sales Manager you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Prospecting new business opportunities
  • Organise calls and meetings with potential clients
  • Organise and maintain the CRM database
  • Attend AI events and networking
  • Work closely with the technical team and feedback customer demand to further develop the AI offering

 

The “Technical Sales Manager” will be able to demonstrate skills in the following areas

  • Experience selling technical solutions to be able to understand the clients’ needs and seek out further sales opportunities
  • Apply deep knowledge of various sales techniques to close whenever possible
  • Have passion for learning and continuous self-improvement
  • High level of empathy and strong listening skills
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing

 

In return our client offers the following compensation and benefits

  • Up to £40,000 basic salary per annum
  • 10% – 15% Commission on all sales
  • Shares in the business offered after successful 6-month probation period
