In this exciting role, you will head up the activities programme in our home. This is a hands-on senior role and you will work closely with the registered manager. You will work with our care team, residents, relatives/friends, agencies, suppliers and the community to provide best quality activities to help maintain both physical and mental health while providing opportunities to develop new interests and maintain current interests.

You will promote and showcase our nursing home by creating links in the community that enable the promotion of upcoming events from our home as well as possible usage of the home by local and approved groups to meet and to share experience and to interact with all our residents.

Hours for the role are Monday to Friday, and there may be the occasional need to cover holiday or sickness at the weekend and or special events. We would require you to be flexible, possibly when a special event is planned you might work less hours through the week and make up the hours on a weekend, this would be more occasional than the norm

About you.

Are you a people person who is (very) good at organising?

Do you have solid IT skills? ( a good working knowledge of computers and the internet will be very helpful).

You'll be a great communicator, and a great planner with an eye for detail. You'll design our annual activities plans, manage them to a budget, enthuse the home and community to be involved and share stories about life in St Georges.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: c£10.50 per hour
