This is a fantastic opportunity for a team of very special people with experience of working with children. Our client is an eight-year-old child with learning and physical difficulties who lives in the Kenilworth area.


As a successful applicant you will work as part of a team, supported by private professionals including a physiotherapist, speech and language therapist, occupational therapist and neuropsychologist. They will provide you with comprehensive training guidance and programmes to follow, aimed at promoting as much independence as possible, and developing his skills. The role may suit a Nurse or applicants from other Healthcare sectors.


He is a very active child who loves swimming (applicant must be able to swim) soft play and climbing and is looking for support workers who are energetic and are happy to play with him, take him out, partake in and explore various activities and have fun with him.


You will need to manage his day-to-day physical needs and provide support with his everyday routine.


The role would involve working in the large family home and it may involve accompanying him and his family on day trips or on holiday.  


Hours: The team of support workers will initially need to cover the following shifts which are flexible depending on the family’s needs, however guaranteed paid hours can be provided.


  • After school from 4.00pm – 8.00pm
  • Weekends from 8.00am – 8.00pm
  • School holidays from 8.00am – 8.00pm


Additional hours may become available in the coming months to cover nights and mornings.


Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible who can fit in with a busy professional family environment.


Applicants must have experience and an affinity with children, could have a nanny / nurse or other health care background / qualification, combined with enthusiasm for working with children with physical and communication disabilities.


The hourly rate will reflect fully the skills and or qualifications of the applicants, to include enhanced weekend rates and double time on bank holidays.


All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Workforce Barring.   A full driving licence is essential and have access to a vehicle.
