JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PERSONAL ASSISTANT

Job Title:                    Personal Assistant

Place of work:           At her home and at places in the community

Rate of pay:               £12.50 per hour

Hours of work:           3 hours on Saturday. Times can be agreed between us

Purpose of job:          To support me to live independently

Tasks:

• To support her with all aspects of personal care, including feeding, dressing, and toileting and incontinence management

• To prepare her meals and drinks and ensure that she has access to food and drink when she is on her own

• To take her out to the playground and keeping her safe by keeping close supervision while she plays

• To ensure she is comfortable and safe at home on her own which includes but is not limited to turning on / off lights, heating, TV, checking etc

• To support her to choose activities she would like to engage in, places she would like to go

• To support her to engage in her chosen activities in a safe manner

• To report any concerns about her health and safety or a deterioration in your relationship to her immediately

• Must respect our privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times regarding our personal life and what happens in her home

• To enable her to carry out any other chosen activity, whether inside or outside her home, by carrying out any other requests she may reasonably make
