Accept Recruitment is currently looking for Dispatch Machine Operator for our Client based in Clayton West, HD8 area.

ROLE SPECIFIC & TECHNICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • operate the assigned machine in accordance with the set procedures
  • know and understand the entire operational requirements for the assigned machine
  • be fully aware of all the procedures required to carry out the task set
  • be fully aware of the yield speed required for the task
  • be fully aware of the completion times/dates of the task
  • have full understanding of all the quality procedures required for the task
  • ensure assistants understands the task set
  • train agency staff
  • manage assistants when running the machine
  • if machine not running to optimum run speed or optimum quality, highlight the problem to line manager
  • ensure good housekeeping around assigned machine at all times
  • work to achieve zero rejects and spoils
  • flexibility to work within other Shopfloor Departments if required
  • understand and practice your responsibilities for the use of the Navision system at all times
  • ensure adequate communications are given to the next operator
  • be an assistant as and when required
  • process manual returns as and when required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

6 months Direct Mail/Transactional Mail industry experience is desirable.  Basic computer skills desirable.

SHIFTS AND RATES OF PAY:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 12.00 – 20.00
  • £10.69 per hour
