Support worker for a young disabled adult

An experienced personal assistant who is reliable, energetic and creative is required to support a young person with special needs based in Southwark.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience working with young adults  with special needs and possess a calm, kind and caring disposition.

The ideal candidate will be punctual and needs to be able to work on a flexible basis.

The candidate should be trustworthy, very compassionate and respectful. They will need to have a professional work ethic with the highest regard to confidentiality and discretion.

A level 2 Diploma in Health and Social care is desirable but not essential; at least 1 years’ experience working with special needs young adults is preferred.

The candidate will need to take the young person out on the community and keep him safe at all times

Hours:          4 Hrs per week (Weekends )

Rate:            £14.38 per hour (paid on a 4 weekly basis)

Proof of entitlement to work in the UK will be required at interview.

An Enhanced Disclosure Barring Check will be required for this position.
