With over 20 years’ experience operating in the fast-paced and dynamic retail sector, our client provides a true end-to-end service; from store construction and consolidation, to fixture procurement, projects and mechanical & electrical installation.

Due to continued business growth and opening of a new site in Normanton we are looking for a Warehouse Administrator to support the day to day business through administration and control of all inbound supplier purchased material. Monitoring key activities to route cause problems, resolve inbound queries and drive improvement

 

 Daily duties:

  • Resolve any inbound issues we may have preventing deliveries into the Warehouse – for example containers stuck in the UK.
  • Maintain system data integrity & identify potential issues effecting shipping – for example labelling of goods, to prevent delays in shipping.
  • Build excellent relationships with your suppliers and resolve any problems.  Act as the Subject Matter Expert.
  • Raise and expedite supplier quotations & orders
  • Action expedite requirements in line with client authorisation
  • Maintain purchase tracking information for management review
  • Departmental support to resolve inbound or supplier queries & customer claims
  • Workload management and distribution
  • Management of internal inbox
  • Monitoring of the administration of product allocations
  • Helping to build monthly reporting and review
  • Direct interaction with Merchandisers and suppliers

Statements of accountability:

  • Develop and maintain key relationships through proactive communication with client and external customers of the facility.
  • Work with WBA global procurement to ensure that all parts are sourced from their approved suppliers wherever this is practical.
  • Ensuring client expectations for specific outbound activity plans are met inclusive of critical path dates.
  • Providing day to day workload and tasks are completed.
  • Responsible for managing the inbox associated with the area ensuring that SLA time frames are met in response to the customer. 
  • Escalating any issues arising through the inbox in a timely manner to the Supply Chain Team Leader.
  • Assisting the SEC leadership team in continual improvement and process change.
  • Ensuring client expectations for specific outbound activity plans are met inclusive of critical path dates.

Requirements:

  • A background in a highly demanding, client facing reporting structure.
  • An approachable individual with strong organisational skills
  • Confident in both written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to perform in a dynamic environment
  • Experience (not essential) of WMS packages
  • Proficient in Microsoft word, excel and outlook
  • Prioritise workload for self and team
  • Experience on IT systems input and maintenance

Working hours and salary:

  • Monday - Friday 
  • £20k-£22k per annum depending on experience 

It's a full time, permanent position.
