The newly created EPR Business Analyst permanent position will focus on implementing and embedding sustainable best-practice processes for the operation of the ERP system to successfully deliver business efficiency and will involve migrating part of the business to the common ERP platform within in Thompson Aero Seating and AIM.

The successful candidate will:​​​​​​​

  • Identify and document deficiencies in current operation of the existing systems and agree/implement system solutions to resolve deficiencies.
  • Perform options appraisals and recommend appropriate process and systems configurations for the migrating users.
  • Define and specify configuration requirements, data integrations, and non-functional requirements (e.g., Security, scalability, robustness & usability) in conjunction with both current and migrating business users.
  • Perform & manage systems validation and user acceptance testing in conjunction with business users as required.
  • Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures which can be used both to successfully operate the ERP system and used as a basis for future audit of these processes.
  • Prepare 'How to' guides and other training materials as needed, including coaching/training to user community.
  • Oversee project tasks, including but not limited to technical tasks such as data mapping, loading and reconciliation, business process verification and systems integration testing.

The ideal candidate should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a technical subject and/ or have attained recognised business analysis certification and have extensive experience delivering high quality business systems analysis outcomes in manufacturing ERP environments. The successful candidate may also be required to travel occasionally between ACS sites.
