Job Title: Female Personal Assistant/ Care worker
Location: Church Lawton, ST7
Day/Times: To be discussed at interview
Hours: 2 hours per week
Rate of pay: £8.91
Purpose of the Job
I am a full time wheelchair user. I had to give up my professional career some time ago but it is still important to me to maintain my independence as much as possible. Keeping on top of my home and medical administration is essential for my wellbeing as is being able to go away from time to time.
Personal Assistant Specification
My assistant must be honest, trustworthy and reliable, must respect my privacy and maintain my dignity at all times.
My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition. They must be able to work well independently.
Experience is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.
The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.

My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
I am looking for a personal assistant who can support me in the following ways:
To monitor stock of medication and equipment to ensure I always have adequate stock in place.
To provide support with cleaning.
To support me with household administration.
To provide personal care for short overnight stays away.
The main duties identified in the job description are examples of the expectations required; I may on occasions reasonably request additional activities to be undertaken inside or outside of the home.
