We are recruitng for an IT Support Analyst to join our IT team here in Huntington.

Purpose of the Job

Reporting to the Cloud/ Infrastructure & Operations Manager, with dotted line into the Service Delivery Lead, the IT Support Analyst will focus primarily on the effective and timely delivery of IT support services to EPM’s user base. Working across a broad range of technologies and liaises across multiple areas of the business to support incidents, problems and requests. Responsible for answering IT requests via phone, ticketing system, email, live chat or instant message and explaining solutions in technical and nontechnical terms. This is a technical hands-on role, which will require exceptional customer service and technical skills across both hardware and software packages in use across EPM.

 

Main Responsibilities/Duties of the Job:

This role will provide 1st / 2nd line support to the 200+ staff within the EPM business (across three main buildings in Huntingdon and one near Darlington), primarily focusing on end user support services via the EPM Helpdesk ticketing system, whilst also participating and contributing on various IT projects.

 

To be successful:

  • Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar providing 1st / 2nd line support to onsite and remote staff.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 end user applications (Email / Teams / OneDrive), including setup / configuration
  • Strong knowledge of Azure / Office 365 Administration and usage, including Intune / Autopilot
  • Administration and monitoring of Backups, AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Mail filters, Anti-Virus and other operational tools
  • Detailed knowledge of Windows 10, Server 2012 - 2019.
