Are you an experienced School DT Technician currently looking for a new role?

U-Educate are working closely with secondary schools and primary schools in Birmingham and surrounding areas assisting them with the recruitment of talented DT Technicians. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who has vast experience as a DT Technician within a school and is looking to utilise and share their knowledge in a new school environment.

As a full time DT Technician, the school will expect you to essentially perform as if you were a permanent member of staff. You will be expected to carry out the following duties:

  • Setting up practical lessons
  • Assisting in demonstrating practical lessons
  • Providing support to Teacher and Students 
  • Maintaining Equipment within the classroom 
  • Ensuring health and safety is being adhered to at all times
  • Purchasing kit/equipment
  • Ensuring practical work areas are safe and hazard free 
  • Training teachers and students when required
