Working in a team reinstating trenches & patches after utility works.
Mainly dealing with surfacing and reinstatement. • You will be responsible for the Health and Safety of your team, 3rdparty contractors and members of the public affected by our reinstatement works.
Liaising with the Reinstatement Supervisor regarding any potential issues
Ensuring the team is working within guidelines and safety standards
Ensure all works meet client requirements and specifications
Ensuring that correct specifications are achieved, reporting back on any incomplete work for action

Complete Utilities reinstatement method to be adhered to at all times, using the correct techniques according to the policy.
The team leader will also be working in close collaboration with the Build teams to schedule reinstatement work as soon after the excavation and temporary reinstatement as possible
Ensure completion photos are submitted correctly
Ensure all measurements of works are completed before work starts
Ensure lining and anti-skid are reinstated if required
Ensure all SLG are maintained and in place in accordance with the red book or best practice
Ensure site is left in an appropriate manner (I.e SLG, clean and tidy) • the team leader will be the first point of contact for reinstatement issues as they arise and will be required to either resolve the problemor escalate to the Supervisor so that impact on build completion is minimised

In-depth understanding of civils reinstatement practices, tarmacking, kerbs, slabs and modular sets.
It is a physically demanding role and will involve working outdoors in all weather conditions
Vehicles to be cleaned of any spoil material daily inside and outside the vehicle it self cleaned at least once a week • Keep defects/workmanship issues to a minimum no more than 1 a quarter
All paperwork to be brought in daily, worksheet to be de-briefed with the planner
Gate check/audit/defect book to be filled out every morning before leaving the yard.
Person Specification & Qualifications
Knowledge of groundworks
Must be reliable, Trustworthy & Honest.
A full and clean driving license, Towing preferred.
A good Awareness of health and safety
A good understanding and experience of the Utility industry
Previous experience working on Civils related projects
Computer literate and familiar with basic software packages.
