PA driver required in the Brunswick area of Hove
Driver needed with own vehicle for a female with complex, multiple health issues to assist me with getting out and about, so I can engage more with the outer world.
I am looking for someone who is practically minded to do odd jobs, to maintain outside spaces, who knows their way around a computer and has good admin, communication and organisational skills, who can be efficient and can work independently, can pick up things quickly and needs little prompting (due to ME/CFS I find persistent repeating of instructions both physically and mentally exhausting). Part of the job description also includes domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and shopping.
This position is not suitable for anyone looking for casual, short-term or self employment. If you are interested a full job description will be provided via email.
Due to the fluctuating nature of my health my needs vary on a daily basis, therefore the person applying must be flexible. I do have a regular 3 hour shift on a Tuesday or Thursday morning finishing no later than 12pm (could possibly switch to afternoons later) and after an initial trial period a 2-3 hour shifts on most Fridays, flexible start but finishing no later than 11am. There are additional hours available as and when needed. Some shifts will involve going on outings and driving me to hospital appointments in London which can take up the whole day (8 - 10 hour shift), although since lockdown my appointments are at present via the phone. I do have a few upcoming dates where driving is required which would also entail a full day's work if you were available.
I am very creative with a passion for nature: I love yoga and I have training in kinesiology and working / playing with animals using oils and plant based materials allowing the animals to self select and self medicate. I actively seek ways to personally evolve and heal. I have a varied music taste and when I am able enjoy gigs. If interested please contact me for further information via the PA Notice Board.
Position available from mid September.
NB* All interviews will be via Zoom.
DBS (which can be obtained via Support with Confidence) and 2 written references are a requirement for this position.
