Job Description

Main Purpose of Role:

To provide streetworks administration in accordance with business operations and NRWSA

Key Tasks:

Responsible for the Streetworks administration to the support the Project Managers. Entering data to the Company systems, co-ordinating and liaising with the project teams and processing traffic orders as required.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure all necessary Street Works Permits are notified in line with guidance
  • Ensure all Permits and Notices are updated on time
  • Submit permits and notices in line with programme and operational requirements
  • Submit R1s in line with guidance
  • To maintain and promote relationships with Operations team and Local Authorities
  • Submit traffic management notifications and temporary traffic orders
  • Submit and monitor forward planning notices
  • Attend operational meetings when required
  • Ensure works on running on time and request extensions if needed
  • Distributing daily reports and whereabouts to Project Managers, Field Managers, and the relevant local authorities
  • Sending daily traffic management schedules to Project Managers, Field Managers, and the relevant local authorities
  • Logging, detailing, and distributing details of daily defects, SID’s and Interims
  • Removing Streetworks Failure costs by actively chasing Project Managers and Field Managers for late site clears, actual starts, R1’s etc


Person Specification:

  • Exceptional organisation, communication skills at all levels.
  • Moderate IT skills, with a good understanding of reporting.
  • Proven track record working within a fast-paced environment.
  • High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance.
  • Experience working in a similar role.
