Distribution Sales Co-Ordinator (Part time)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Distribution Sales Co-Ordinator to join AIM Altitude based in Waterbeach, Cambridge.  In return we offer  pro-rata benefits of 25 days holiday, plus 8 Bank holidays, Pension, Non-contributory Life Assurance and Cash Health Care Scheme.  Our location has excellent transport links via road and rail.

AIM Altitude is one of the leading global suppliers of cabin interiors to the world’s leading airlines.  AIM Composites division is a full service manufacturing company, excelling in the manufacture and assembly of complex composite exterior and interior components, mouldings, sandwich, flat panels and laminates for a multitude of industries such as aerospace, rail, marine, military and automotive and their varied and specific applications.

The Distribution Sales Co-Ordinator will be responsible for quoting and processing all distribution material enquiries, working with the defined processes to ensure that orders are delivered in line with customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Dealing with customer enquiries and expectations for distribution sales.

Compiling quotations/Estimates for distribution materials to the customer’s requirement.

Ensuring that Sales/purchase orders for distribution contracts are processed in a timely manner.

Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.

Sales order book maintenance and reporting to show workload and values in any given month.

Schedules – working in conjunction with the planning and despatch teams to achieve best practice / delivery on time, first time at the right cost within the team.

Promote and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.

Raising despatch packs for distribution sales enabling signatories to sign for release.

Administrative control of all supporting documentation including customs invoices and shipping documents.

A good level of experience with MS Office, emails, word, excel along with knowledge of MRP systems would be an advantage.  Candidates should have excellent administrative skills, must demonstrate an aptitude for problem solving and have the ability to determine solutions for customers.  Must be results orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
