Female Care Coordinator required in the Wath Upon Dearne (S63) area of Rotherham.

To support a woman with Autism in maintaining her independence.

This role would be best suited to a responsible, caring and patient individual who can be relied upon to maintain excellent timekeeping skills, and who possesses an ability to impress calm on an individual under distress.

The applicant must possess exceptional organisational skills and be dynamic in all aspects, as a key duty of this role is to supervise other employees and be capable of making decisions on matters concerning the woman’s everyday needs, without a recurring need to contact her family.

£9.57 per hour.

19Hrs per week

Duties include:

  • Prompting meals and medication.
  • Assistance with managing bills.
  • To support your employer by ensuring that an effective staff rota is in place and timesheets are submitted as per the agreed schedule, ensuring that day and sleep hours, annual leave and bank holiday hours for all employees are recorded correctly, concisely and consistently.
  • Support staff in enabling them to access training and carry out their duties and responsibilities effectively.
  • Liaising with outside agencies, including Adult Social Services, NHS services, Local Authority departments, social housing etc.
  • Keep up to date with local and national legislation that impact any aspect of the woman’s life.
  • Assistance with incoming mail and keeping an effective filing system.
  • Accompanying and supporting the woman in accessing the community.
  • To instil a level of motivation in the woman to remain active and social.

About you:

  • DBS check will be required. The expense will be met by your employer.
  • You must be an enthusiastic individual, as well as reliable, punctual and flexible, with a positive attitude and patient manner.
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable, with an understanding of the woman’s disabilities and their day-to-day effects. Training will be provided around current needs as required.
  • An ability to maintain confidentially and be non-judgmental.
  • Must have a clean driving licence & own a car with workplace insurance in place.
  • Possess a minimum of four GCSE’s, and include Math and English at Grade 3 or above
