The wait is finally over ! After over 2 years of fundraising we have reached our target and construction of the new hub will started in June 2021.
BCHA are working alongside the Bourne Big Local Partnership to employ a community engagement worker to advocate and empower local residents to help shape their community and encourage a strong presence in decision making and planning activities, acting as the link between residents and the Bourne Big Local Partnership you will actively support the decision making process and ensure the residents voices are heard, encouraging engagement as well as maintaining the highest level of standard.
As a BCHA employee you will be actively involved in ensuring activities are planned and delivered with the Bourne Big Local residents
The role will be part time – 16 Hours a Week – Fixed Term To November 2022.
- Knowledge of Supporting Vulnerable people, resident involvement, engagement, empowerment in Neighbourhoods and communities
- Appreciation of the need to listen and act when involving residents.
- Appreciation of the need the maximise the voices of all residents.
DBS checks are required for roles where you will be working with or have lone contact with Vulnerable Adults and Children.
