Are you an experienced Factory / Manufacturing Assistant looking for your next permanent long-term role within a growing business? 

 

Go Perm is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Assistant on a Full-Time Permanent basis, to join their well-established and growing business in Kineton, Warwick. 

 

You will be operating machinery in the production area, to manufacture products and develop a good working knowledge of materials and processes. You will be ensuring goods are picked, packed and labeled correctly. 

 

Position: Factory / Manufacturing Assistant  

Salary: £18,720 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm - 40 hours per week

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Take part in monthly stock audits and regular team briefings.
  • To ensure that operations are carried out as specified on the job cards & that all materials are accurately identified, checked, weighed, loaded, decanted & labeled.
  • To ensure that the machinery & production areas are kept clean & that all drums are taken out & tools put away at the end of the day.
  • To try to improve efficiency through improved working practices & to ensure production procedures are followed correctly. To conduct testing on the manufactured product to ensure it meets the required specification
  • To ensure that materials & vessels are palletised, stored in the correct locations & that all goods are in a fit condition for sale.

 

 
About You, Key Skills & Experience

  • You will be a team player, with a hands-on approach (all for one, one for all attitude)
  • Having a similar Manufacturing / Factory background is essential 
  • Self-motivated attitude, able to work as part of a team
  • To have the ability to communicate clearly with staff at all levels of the company and should be able to work without supervision (after your training is complete). 
  • Own transport is essential
