    Location:               Turriff

    Salary:                   £24,000

     

    An opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Rota Co-ordinator to join our team based at our Turriff Office for Care at Home and Supported Living services.

    As Rota Co-ordinator you will be required to develop appropriate relationships with staff teams and communicate well with Service Users, their families and wider health professionals around rota changes and Service User needs in relation to hours.

    The role requires effective management and implementation of IT systems to ensure the provision to Service Users is consistent and seamless in terms of delivery.  You will have experience of using an electronic rota system and the ability to assess and implement effective rostering.

    Make no mistake, this role is all about relationships.  We are looking for someone with compassion, empathy and understanding for both staff and the people we support. This will enable you, as the successful candidate to match the best worker available to the people we support at all times.  You will be part of a bigger team and an essential key role in the running of our branch. 

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Co-ordinating the Company Rota system, using Staff Plan.
    • Liaising with and providing support to support staff, Service Users and the Management Team.
    • Assisting with updating of records of Service Users and support staff as required.
    • Work in partnership with Service User’s in order to successfully match staff that will meet
    • their needs.
    • Ensure that all changes to the Rota System, Staff Plan, are reported without delay and arrange replacement staff.
    • Responsible for general data input and daily changes to Staff Plan.
    • Participate in the company on-call rotation on a regular basis.
    • Participate in Quality Assurance Visits to Service User’s homes.

     

    Experience required:

     

    Applicants must have experience in rota co-ordination in a Support Living, Independent Living or Care at Home environment and have a resilient, calm nature.
