We require a Financial Planning Administrator to work with one of our partners in our Chartered Independent Financial Planning business. The role includes all levels of support to their business activities from diary management through basic para-planning activities.
Providing full technical administration and some basic para-planning support to advisers.
Diary management and booking in appointments.
Letter writing, scanning, organising paper work and inputting data onto online systems ensuring accuracy.
Daily use of Intelliflo IO and Cash Flow Planning software.
Processing business in line with FCA and TCF requirements.
Contacting product providers and using online quote systems where required.
Contacting clients where required and answering queries they may have.
We are a small but growing team and so self motivation and the ability to work on your own is essential. You will need to be able to plan and prioritise your own workload.
Previous experience providing technical administrative support to Financial Planners is preferrable as is exposure to investments, pension and protection business in a regulated environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential.
Candidates with experience using Intelliflo Intelligent Office Prestwood Truth will be at an advantage.
The ideal applicant will be a self-starter with strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Demonstrate a highly professional and polite approach.
We are a small Firm of Chartered Planners dealing with mostly high net worth clients. We deal with almost every area of financial planning including pensions, investments, mortgages and protection. That said, our main focus is on investment business and lifestyle financial planning, utilising Truth software. We care a lot for our clients and would expect any new starter to adopt the same level of professionalism.
We are keen to help develop our team and so will be supportive of further education/qualifications. We would also consider a candidate who had a longer-term ambition to move into para-planning although this is ultimately an administrative role.
This is a full time opportunity, 9am – 5pm, however working hours can be discussed and we can accommodate a 4 day working week with hours to fit around the school day for the right candidate. Once fully trained there is the potential for working from home one day per week.
