Role Purpose:

Overall accountability for business performance, interrogation of all management and KPI data holding relevant Managers to account for achieving targets.  Holding weekly & monthly management & KPI measurement review meetings with a clear direction on the business’ continued improvement.  Accountability for client management information and KPIs holding quarterly reviews against tender promises with all clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with external organisations & clients and ensure clients’ expectations on survey & programmes are achieved
  • Provide weekly reports & forecasts on each Lot
  • Provide weekly reports & forecasts to the Programme Manager for production and RFS status of cabinets
  • Participate in the identification & development of construction improvements
  • Weekly measure forecast against actual, defaults and strike reviews with PM’s and FM’s
  • Undertake monthly 121 meetings & six monthly performance development reviews with the team to track their objectives. Identify underperforming staff; follow performance management procedures
  • Conducting weekly & monthly review meetings on data to ensure all information is held to account
  • Maintain deadlines and deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with the Senior Leadership Team on the business performance against all management data
  • Be an influential leader, role model and mentor for all CU staff, and a key figurehead for the culture of the company moving forward
  • Maintain deadlines and deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with the Programme Manager and our client’s management team
  • Reduction on defects and quality compliance failures
  • Develop and build a cohesive relationship with all relevant departments within CU
  • Conduct strategy meetings with the Operations and Programme Managers to identify issues and client requirements; facilitate operational discussions; all input on timelines and deliverables
  • Assume full control & responsibility of the operations within the project scope
  • Implement and analyse KPIs to capture project performance with a direct focus on HSEQ, Cost & Production and also commitment & deliverables to all our clients
  • Oversee that each Lot & Cabinet Management Plan is accurate, reviewed & updated throughout the build
  • Responsible for improving the productivity of the organisation ensuring the business functions smoothly; facilitate & engage in alternative paths to increase company profitability
  • Direct and oversee the Build Task Order and Completed Task Order ensuring all areas within delivery are successfully delivered safe on time and on budget to the required Quality Standards
  • Weekly review meetings with the Commercial & Finance Manager and Project Managers to interrogate our costs and sales
  •  Track build progress - document and escalate delays through CEMAR via early warnings and compensation events
  • Right first-time approach across the contracts
  • Provide monthly reports for the contract performance meetings
  • Ensure forecast and budgets are established and numbers for year-end are achieved
  • Ensure NAV & business management systems are fully implemented and produce the right outputs for continuous improvement
  • Ensure that all parts of the business align to our policies and procedures, our business management system and end to end process
  • Highlight any innovation and efficiencies to the Managing Director to ensure a right first time is achieved
  • Focus on the business being lean, safe and compliant with a strong focus on safety compliance and removing failure costs
  • Help to establish and develop in-house design for various clients
  • Ensure fit for purpose structure to deliver outputs and meet with client demands

 Carry out any other duties that can reasonably be requested from time to time within the skills, training and experience required for this position
