Experienced Support Workers urgently required for our client who is a gentleman with a complex brain injury within the Bromley/Croydon area.

Our client requires 2-1 care with all aspects of his daily living and to access the community. We are looking to recruit someone ready for a new challenge with good listening skills, a sympathetic nature, someone who would be an excellent communicator and who is not afraid of hard work.

If you have experience in care, we’d love to hear from you. Our client seeks someone who is well organised with a positive attitude, flexible and is able to respond to emergencies.

If you have experience in a similar role and are looking for an opportunity to really make a difference to someone’s life, then get in touch today.

You will have a full two-week intense induction to the role supported by our client’s wife and experienced support team. You will need to be fully flexible and be able to work a variety of shifts which include days and nights.

Essential requirements:

  • Peg/Enteral feeding
  • Nebulisers/Suctioning
  • Observation checks

  • Willing to undertake weekly Covid tests – due to the current pandemic, this must be your only role.

Working Hours: Full and Part time shifts available including day and night shifts.

Plus as and when required shifts to cover days and waking nights for annual leave and sickness.

Bank staff also required.

Rates of pay: £12.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £14.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday.  There may be an increase in pay subject to satisfactory performance and completion of all training.

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable and brain injury experience. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
