Location: Staffordshire

Salary: £9.00 PH

Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am – 12.30pm

Our company is growing year on year and we are now looking for a committed and proactive Operations Processor. We are seeking an individual who will work from our Distribution Hub. We distribute Chemicals and Maintenance products throughout the UK and Internationally. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to work as part of a small and friendly team.

ROLE

We are looking to recruit an Operations Processor, to join our friendly team who will have a positive and respectful attitude. Is capable of working on their own initiative as well as working under instruction as part of a team. Responsibilities will encompass a variety of activities within the warehouse environment.

  • Achieve company and personal objectives, for example picking efficiency and accuracy of picks
  • Working within process and where appropriate identifying areas for improvement
  • Ensuring and maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to the H&S policy and reporting any issues that have arisen
  • Ensuring site security is maintained at all times
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
  • Using the Warehouse Management System accurately during Receiving, Put away, Picking, and Stock checking tasks
  • Loading and Unloading of deliveries
  • Put away of deliveries and stock
  • Completing accurate receipt of deliveries and reporting any damages or missing stock
  • Adhering to all relevant QMS operating procedures
  • Labelling of goods
  • Adhere to all manufacturing processes, reporting of any component shortages, informing the Operations Manager of any problems occurred during decanting process and ensuring equipment is maintained and cleaned on a daily basis
  • Picking and packing of all orders
  • Identifying and reporting low stock levels of sale items, raw materials and associated packaging
  • Entering data for various courier portals
  • Where required, basic navigation of Sage 200
  • Palletising and moving of various goods within the warehouse environment
  • Participate in all stocktakes
  • Occasionally required to deliver product by van to any of our sites of operation
  • Responding to out of hours emergency picking & packaging jobs
  • Participation in the weekend on call rota
  • Operation of the FLT after training
  • Supporting the Operations Manager with any ad-hoc duties

It is expected that you will take the initiative to complete any other jobs that may require your attention, even if they are not detailed on this list.

PERSON

  • Ability to work with a WMS
  • Competent in all Microsoft office applications
  • Self-motivated
  • Good time keeping
  • Good communication skills
  • It would be desirable for the person to hold a current FLT licence
  • A flexible approach to your role, as duties can change daily
  • Ability to multi task across several areas of work in a very short space of time
  • Happy to work in a small and friendly team
  • A full UK drivers licence
