Do you have a passion for property and housing?

In this role you will lead, manage and deliver the effective performance of the property asset function including: strategic asset management and stock investment plans, financial feasibilities and remodelling, responsive repairs and energy improvements.

You will ensure we provide the best homes possible for our customers and to achieve the business plan aims and objectives with specific responsibility for all our property assets, facilities management, all Landlord Health & Safety standards, Fitness for Human Habitation Act 2018 to ensure full compliance with all regulatory and legislative responsibilities.

You are expected to play a key role in our transformation plans, shifting from reactive to planned property management, embracing new technologies to better manage our homes and to deliver outstanding service to our customers across a range of supported and general housing properties.

This will be a hands on role suited to a property professional with experience encompassing, leases, rent renewals/negotiations, valuations, complex/multi-occupancy sites and options appraisals.

We are looking for someone; 

  • To have detailed knowledge and understanding of the impact of the regulatory framework and government policy on asset management programmes;
  • To have a proven ability to successfully lead, motivate and manage teams to produce effective outcomes, including technical aspects and human resource issues;
  • To have a proven ability to manage, interrogate and interpret complex financial and statistical data and information for use in the business and to manage financial performance;
  • To have a proven ability to manage projects and budgets successfully including the preparation and submission of external funding bids;
  • To have a proven ability to effectively resolve issues and problems that may arise with contractors or customers, identifying and appraising options and implementing appropriate resolutions.

DBS checks are required for roles where you will be working with or have lone contact with Vulnerable Adults and Children.
