We are looking for an experienced surveyor to work in our property management team, providing a quality surveying service to ensure our buildings are kept up to standard and that our customer’s homes remain safe and comfortable. You’ll be motivated with a focus on customer service as you’ll be in our customers’ homes every day. If you have proven experience of working in social housing that’s great.
You will carry out pre and post inspections, stock condition surveys, Housing Health and Safety Rating System surveys, Landlord H&S compliance inspections, DDA audits and assessments of potential remedial works priorities. You will contribute to long term asset management planning and financial feasibilities and ensure compliance with relevant policies, legal and regulatory requirements.
This is a key role for BCHA; You will be responsible for surveying and identifying works in relation to cyclical, planned, voids and responsive maintenance. This includes preparing specifications and tenders for the annual asset investment programme ensuring control of quality and cost across all activities.
BCHA is a not for profit organisation and a registered charity. We own and maintain 1400 homes and are expanding our housing stock. The money we make goes back into improving our homes and services so that we can help more people.
