Experienced Support Workers required to join a small but growing team to work with our client within her own home in the Cirencester area.

The position would suit candidates who have experience supporting individuals with complex and clinical care or are training/qualified nurses.

Applicants should be bright, energetic and motivated with a robust personality.  In addition to being quick and free thinking, thus enabling her to lead a life that is fulfilling and meaningful; maximising her physical and psychological well-being and promoting her safety at all times.

The successful applicants will provide help and assistance with all activities of daily living, to include, building, developing and nurturing a therapeutic relationship with her to support her to continue to achieve her therapeutic goals.

You will work closely with the relevant professionals including her school and treating therapists, implementing the client’s rehabilitative therapy programme and facilitating social activities; as well as supporting her in all aspects of her life.

Working hours: 36 hours per week.  Shifts will be on a rota system to include mornings, evenings, waking nights and weekends.

Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.

Rates of pay £13.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £15.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday.

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child and Adult Workforce Barring.  Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
