About the Job: We are seeking a female personal assistant who will be responsible for the care and attention of two ladies in the Colwyn Bay area. The ladies are twins who have varying special needs, and you will be required to accompany them to social activities and assist with day-to-day living tasks, including some personal care, to ensure their best quality of life and experience within the community. You will need to possess a full driving licence, and use of a car insured for business use. Rate of pay, £10.75 per hour.
Responsible to: You will be directly responsible to your employer, the ladies parent.
To accompany to social activities
To assist with the preparation of meals
To be constructive and inspirational in encouraging the ladies in how best to spend their leisure time, whether it be in or outside of their home
To assist with personal care when needed
Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed
Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.
Have knowledge of disability issues
Be patient, supportive and respect the privacy of the family and to uphold confidentiality always
Be trustworthy, reliable and punctual
Have a friendly outgoing personality with a sense of humour
To take part in activities such as swimming, tennis, skiing and
arts & crafts
Possess a full driving licence and use of a car insured for business use.
