Experienced Rehabilitation Assistant required for a gentleman who has an acquired brain injury living in the Cardiff area.
As part of the rehabilitation team, you will be joining at the beginning of the client’s rehabilitation journey. You will work closely with the Case Management and the treating therapy team undertaking all aspects of the clients structured therapy program. You will also be a key part of developing the clients social and leisure opportunities, expending his access to a wider range of experiences outside of the residential home.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for skilled and experienced Rehabilitation Assistant to join a small but growing team. We are looking for experienced individual(s) to work with our client alongside the care provider within his residential facility.
The position would suit candidates who have experience supporting with neurologically compromised clients and prolonged disorders of consciousness.
You should be bright, energetic, and motivated with a robust personality. You should be able to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team, whilst being able to work 1:1 with the client.
Following a successful shadow period, shifts will be on a rota system to include mornings, evenings, and weekends
Working hours: 36 Hours, weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible. You should have a keen eye for detail and a good understand of the need for accurate recording and reporting in order to evidence the client’s achievements and developments.
Rates of pay £14.14 per hour Monday to Friday, £16.16 per hour Saturday and Sunday and £25.25 per hour on Bank Holidays
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
