Personal Assistant/Carer required, to assist a 29 year old male with Cerebral Palsy in Hastings, Old Town area. A sense of humour and a clean driving licence required with access to a vehicle. I do have use of my own vehicle, which, the applicant may be required to drive from time to time. Duties include assisting with personal care, answering emails (basic IT skills are essential), Food preparation, take me to appointments or to work, shopping and some light housework. In summary, all aspects of essential day to day living and access to the local community.

Short shifts available alternate Saturday, Sunday morning plus an evening shift on Fridays (or alternate Fridays) and potentially Wednesday mornings. Additional shifts regularly available to cover staff holiday.

£10 per hour standard rate and £15 per hour on bank holidays.

5.6 weeks annual leave.

Mileage given when on official business.

Three month probation period.

Approximately 36 hours per four weekly.

Successful applicant, would start on a zero contract.

Sometimes the duties may include working on bank holidays, mornings and evenings.

The occasional extra shift, when family members go of an evening.
