Job title              Female Personal Assistant

 

Hours                 10 hrs per week term time. Mornings 5 hours and 5 hours on a Saturday

20 hours holiday time to be arranged

 

Location             Fenham

 

Rates of pay      £10.30 per hour

 

Purpose of Job

 

The family are looking for a PA to support Yusef in his morning routine, enabling mum and dad to ensure the rest of the family are ready for the day ahead. This would be a great opportunity for a PA living in the Fenham area.

 

Yusef has a variety of interests these include swimming, music and touch play with objects particularly figurines.  He likes to use his creativity and learns through sensory exploration with clay, leaves, twigs, patterning with paints pens and paper and with figurines.

Yusef has an engaging smile which he will use along with eye contact to communicate. If Yusef is distressed, he will communicate this by dropping to the ground and screaming.

 

There is an element of personal care involved

 

Term Time only

 

Morning Routine

 

Monday to Friday 7.30am to 8.30am and 5 hours on a Saturday

 

Holiday Time   20 hours to be arranged

 

PA support would be on a weekend and during school breaks, this would be to assist Yusef to engage with preferred activities and to reduce the risk of social isolation.

 

You do not need any formal qualifications, but you must be willing to learn how to do the job under our direction.
