Experienced Part-Time *Female Rehabilitation Support Workers required for a 47-year-old lady who has acquired a brain injury and mental health illness living in the Stourbridge area.
The role will involve supporting our client with psychiatric and psychology strategies and administering her medication. To be active in continuing with assistance in developing the client's independence, supporting with her behavioural management, functional skills, working with her therapy team and therapy programmes and activities in the community.
This is an exciting and challenging role and we seek dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic workers.
It is essential that you share some of our client’s interest in nature, conservation, classical music, yoga, dance, poetry, arts and crafts and mindfulness/meditation and are able to lead an activity with her. You will be working 2-1 with a team of experienced rehabilitation support workers.
Working hours: 24 hours per week to include days, weekends and nights. Alternatively, you can work nights only if you are flexible to work occasional days for cover needs.
Bank positions are also available.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised, flexible and have previous experience of acquired brain injury. A full driving licence is essential as the client has their own vehicle which you will be required to drive.
Ideally to be your main and only job role due to Covid-19.
Rates of pay: £14.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £16.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
