Support worker / Carer required in Chinnor, Oxfordshire
Hi, My Mum and Dad are looking for a support worker to help look after me, alongside themselves and the current care team.
I am a 7 year old boy who is bright, energetic and usually happy, I enjoy music and movement, interactive play, going out for walks in my wheelchair, time at the park and swimming.
I have cerebral palsy which means I need help with all activities, feeding and care. I am learning to communicate with the assistance of my communication book and a special computer.
Recruiting for 20 - 25 hours a week; week day and weekend hours, days and nights - nights have a 4 hour resting period.
Week day term time shifts are currently 3pm - 8pm on Monday - Friday
Weekend shifts are 9am/10am - 7/8pm depending on rota requirements
School holiday shifts are 8am - 8pm
Night shifts 10pm until 8/8.30am with 4 hour rest period
Shift patterns can alter in line with client’s needs
Flexible to work across all shifts, additional hours will be available to assist when team members are on holiday or sick. There will be a requirement to work occasional extra time to attend training with the therapists, meetings and supervision.
Rates of Pay: Monday to Friday £13.00 per hour, Saturday and Sunday £15.00 per hour.
Night rates hours as above with a 4 hour rest period paid at National Living Wage.
It is essential that you are a driver, and that you have previous support worker, carer or nanny experience.
