BANK STAFF ROLE
Job Purpose and work duties
To assist with the day-to-day activities enabling the employer to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets their chosen lifestyle.
Work Duties will include:
Communication duties (making phone calls and writing letters on behalf of client)
Prompting fulid intake (reminding client to remain hydrated)
Taking client to appointments
Accessing the community (as when required)
Personal Care (as and when required)
Promoting medication (as and when required)
Simple DIY tasks (as and when required)
With day to day duties, ensuring client and 3-year-old son’s safety always.
Undertaking activities for employer
Ensuring clients home is hygienic and safe
Establish and maintain effective communication
Working in a safe manner
Within the employer’s home in Brighton – Elm Grove area
Hours of Pay
Bank staff job role. To cover hours as and when required.
Please note: The successful candidate will need to provide the following information: - UTR number on a headed HMRC letter - DBS certificate - Insurance policy to provide care in client’s homes.
Requirements for applicant
Experience of working with client’s with Mental Health issues
Ability to support client in challenging situations
Ability to work in an improvised manor (especially with meal preparation)
Exceptional communicational skills
Ability to understand and deliver the needs of the employer
Ability to use initiative when carrying out all PA duties
Working in person centred way
Flexible, reliable, and honest individual
An enhanced DBS check will be required
Ability to support and understand the needs of the client’s 3-year-old son.
