Experienced *Female Children's Support Worker

£14.00 to £16.00 per hour

Experienced energetic and enthusiastic *Female Children’s Support Worker required for a delightful and bright eight-year-old girl who has Cerebral Palsy and is suffering from developmental delay. The support worker will be required to work with our client in a supportive role within the family home.  Our client lives in the Holbeach area.

Due to Covid-19 she is in the high risk category and therefore this MUST be your only post.

We are seeking a part time rehabilitation support worker for a minimum of 16 hours a week.

Shifts are Thursdays 4-8pm, Saturdays 4-8pm, 12-8pm Sundays.

Ideally you will be flexible to cover additional hours, annual leave and sickness. This would include shifts 7am-9.30pm, 2.30pm-8pm or 10-8pm shifts.

There will be maternity cover required in 6 months for 30 plus hours a week.

We require cover for annual leave, sickness and it is expected that the hours will gradually increase to provide twenty four hour care. Ideally you will be very flexible and able to join our small team for additional therapy training which is ongoing most weeks.

We are seeking bubbly, enthusiastic and very energetic support workers who are flexible, patient and dynamic. You MUST have experience of working with children with disabilities

You must be able to drive and willing to go out with the family for the day, weekends away and holidays.

Rates of pay: £14.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £16.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday.

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.

All posts are subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential along with your own vehicle.
