£28,000 - £35,000 per annum

Due to our company expansion we are looking to recruit two 18th Edition qualified Electricians to join our successful company based in Sapcote, Leicestershire.  

Our high profile in the Electric Vehicle Charging sector combined with proactive marketing campaign for work in the general electrical contracting sector has resulted in a considerable demand for our services.

We are offering a competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum plus overtime and on-call allowance, as well as 30 days holiday (including bank holidays), workplace pension (after qualifying period), workwear uniform / allowance and commercial vehicle.

Our Electricians are responsible for electrical installation and maintenance in both commercial & residential properties. You will be both, working alone and as part of a team dependant on the nature of works required of you.

Other duties include:

  • General electrical installation works
  • EV charge point installation – residential & commercial (7.2 to 150kW)
  • Commercial/retail environment electrical maintenance
  • E I C R – residential & commercial

The successful Electrician will:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have knowledge of basic First Aid
  • Have knowledge of the IET Code of Practice for electric vehicle charging equipment installation (desirable)
  • Experience in commercial installation works & maintenance
  • Must have completed a full C & G / NVQ Apprenticeship or have completed Level 3 NVQ
  • Be competent in completing installation & testing certification in accordance with the 18th edition IET regulation.
  • 18th Edition Qualified (essential)
  • Have completed C & G 2391 Inspection & Testing (desirable)
  • Have competed C & G 2919 Electric Vehicle Charging (desirable)
  • Hold a valid ECS card or equivalent
  • Have a minimum of two years post qualification site/work experience (essential)

Hours of work: 7.5 hours basic day Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday mornings. Call-Out rota with paid standby allowance.
