I am a 58 year old man and am looking for an experienced support worker for weekends to join my team.

I am a wheelchair user following below the knee amputation of my left leg, I am unable to weight bear and use a tracked hoist for all transfers, I use a manual wheelchair around my flat.

I enjoy watching heavy rock on music channels, I am also interested in motorbikes, chatting and having a laugh.

6 - 10 hours per week including some weekends @ £15 per hour

2 hours each morning from 8am

1 hour each evening from 9pm

You will be supporting me with all personal care in the morning and getting ready for the day, including breakfast.

In the evening, personal care, getting ready and into bed.

•  You will be someone with previous experience of supporting others in the community and have experience of working with hoists.

• I do not like to be rushed while receiving support you will need to be patient and understanding of this. I am meticulous about hygiene and you will need to pay particular attention to this.

You will establish a close working relationship on a one-to-one basis.

You should have a genuine interest in the provision of high quality care, promote my independence and be a good communicator possessing the motivation to develop trust and understanding within the role.
