Experienced Full-time Support Workers required for a gentleman with an acquired brain injury living on the outskirts of Cardiff.

We are looking for a bright, energetic, and motivated person, who is proactive and dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care. You will have a key role in facilitating my rehabilitation program which is developed by my treating therapy team.

You should be quick and free thinking, enabling me to lead a life that is fulfilling and meaningful. Maximising my physical and psychological well-being and promoting my safety at all times.

We are looking for a person who is invested in building and developing a strong therapeutic relationship, in which we are empowered to have our voices and choices advocated. Giving help and assistance with all activities of daily living, personal care, and independent living. You should have excellent communication skills and be competent at recording and reporting.

Working hours: 36 Hours. Days, nights, and weekend shifts on a rota basis.

Our client seeks someone who is well organised, flexible and have previous experience of working with brain injury/ stroke rehabilitation is essential. You must have a driving licence and be able to drive an adapted vehicle.

Rates of pay £12.61 per hour Monday to Friday, £15.76 per hour Saturday and Sunday, £100.88 per Sleep-in shift and £26.28 per hour for Bank Holidays.

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring.  Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
