NEWLY QUALIFIED PHARMACISTS ACROSS SCOTLAND

Right Medicine Pharmacy has 32 pharmacies across Scotland and over 240 employees. We are growing all the time, and want to take you on our journey.

As a registered Pharmacist with an active GPhC registration, reporting to the superintendent and line manager, you will play an important and critical role within the pharmacy teams.

Our Early Years role not only allows you to work as Responsible Pharmacist, but also gives the flexibility for you to be working as second pharmacist, learning more from our experienced Pharmacy Managers. The year will also include a variety of external learning days, which in the past have included sessions with Primary Care pharmacists, Community Pharmacy Scotland, and other Pharmacist Independent Prescribers to see how their clinics are run and how they can offer enhanced services. These are able to be discussed and adapted to your specific learning needs and personal interests.

The role will be supported by our Training and Development Manager, and you will also be allocated a Pharmacist Mentor within the company. The company will also support you to undertake the CPS Early Career Framework, should you choose to apply, and be accepted on this programme.

Working in a relief manager role, you will have the responsibility of managing the pharmacy team and overseeing the day-to-day operations that take place within the pharmacy. Along with leading the dispensary teams for dispensing prescriptions, you will be working with respectful and supportive teams across the company and will bring passion and drive to develop our business whilst also bringing a good personality to our customers attending our Pharmacies.

The ideal candidate would be a newly qualified pharmacist, or someone returning to pharmacy after a career break, who is enthusiastic and ready to get stuck in, while also being keen to work on their personal development in this supported role.
