Female Personal Assistant/Carer required in the Mansfield (NG18) area of Nottingham.

To support an outgoing young woman with cerebral palsy, live an independent, social and active lifestyle.

This role would be best suited to a flexible individual who can be available to cover and live in the Mansfield area.

To work around 8 hours per week- which will include mornings from 7.30 am to 8.45 am Monday to Friday, around my own working week.

You may be required to work up to 4 hours extra per week to cover appointments and the odd weekend, which would be agreed in advance.

Meets national minimum wage.

Duties include:

• Support to attend social activities and groups.
• Support to access the community.
• Assistance in attending appointments, if needed.
• Personal care - including the ability to skilfully apply makeup and doing hair.

About you:

• Car owner and driver essential – Expenses will be paid.
• A DBS check will be required, the expense will be met by the employer.
• You must be an enthusiastic individual, as well as reliable, punctual, and flexible, with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable, with an understanding of promoting independence. Training will be provided around current needs if required.
• Must be flexible in regard to duties and working hours required.
